2 months old!
Collin is 2 months old today. Time goes by REALLY fast these days. I blinked, and a month went by. How does that happen exactly?
I went back to work on August 25, and Collin has been in private daycare with a really nice lady that lives just a few miles from here. I know he really likes it, because he gives her big smiles when he sees her. It’s good he likes her, but….waaaaah! ...

My aunt sent Collin a play pen and a play mat, that are now occupying my livingroom, in addition to a crib, a high chair, a baby swing, a car seat, a bouncy chair, and a diaper bag, along with a few hundred toys. It looks like romper room threw up in my apartment.
When exactly did this become my life? (I know, I know, July 5…it was a rhetorical question).

Collin is 1 month old today! It’s crazy how fast time has gone by and how much he has grown. He no longer fits into his newborn clothes, including the outfit he wore home from the hospital. (*sob*). My first bath (new pictures)
Collin had his first bath yesterday. He was remarkably calm for it. I expected a lot of screaming and crying, but instead all I got was a disgruntled look from The Elfkin. After his bath, his daddy dried him off and got him dressed. What a cute baby!

Collin was downright crabby yesterday. I think his tummy was upset, poor little guy. But even a crabby Collin is still a very good natured Collin. I rubbed his tummy for awhile, and that seemed to fix what ails him.
Right now, he’s hanging out in his bouncy seat, listening to the music and watching the little animals move around. He’s still a little too small to get full use out...
How I got my name
Everyone asks how Collin got his name. So here’s the official answer:
He has the same last name as his daddy, so no, he’ is not Collin Collins. (Give me some credit, ok?).

Here’s a photo album that Aunt Eileen put together of pictures from when I was first born. The pictures feature Aunt Maureen, Grandpa, Daddy, and Mom. Mom says she looks like she’s been hit by a train in these pictures, but I’m cutting her some slack since it took 45 hours at the hospital to bring me into the world!
Two weeks old!
I’m 2 weeks old today! Wow, time has really flown by. I’ve already gained about 1lb since I was born, and I no longer fit into newborn diapers. Very soon, I won’t be able to wear my newborn clothes anymore. That’s just fine by me…I’d rather be naked anyway!
