1 month old!
Collin is 1 month old today! It’s crazy how fast time has gone by and how much he has grown. He no longer fits into his newborn clothes, including the outfit he wore home from the hospital. (*sob*). Daddy put together the crib a few nights ago, and we’re in the process of getting Collin acclimated to sleeping in his “big boy bed”. The first night he slept in it, he would wake up and cry every 40 minutes, as if he didn’t know where he was. I’d have to come by and snuggle him for a minute, then put him back to bed. I guess he just needed the reassurance that even though bed was different, everything else at home was not, and we’d still be there to snuggle with him.
He’s much more alert and awake during the day, and is starting to enjoy being in his bouncy chair. He’s beginning to reach out for toys, too. We were playing with some little jingly toys yesterday, and Collin would reach out and grab on to the duck toy and look SO surprised and happy when he’d actually connect with the toy. He’s been trying so hard to pick up his head and look around, and can roll on to his side now.
